I’m at the end of my road of life. No I’m not planning to die. I have just finished 3 years of campus – three years of which each year was a lesson – now to apply those lessons. Where to begin?
It’s December the 3rd 2018. I’m being pestered about finding a job by my mother – apparently I ain’t trying hard enough cause looking through Indeed* everyday is not good enough. I wish I could say “YES mother I do want to not depend on you anymore .” Except my degree will not let me. You see, for the last 3 years I studied a Bacherlor of Arts degree at the University of the Witswatersrand.
Sounds Fancy doesn’t it? “Arts“. No not that Arts, I am made to explain. It’s definitely more complicated. I question- Why do Universities offer degrees at such expensive rates when deep down they know there is some factor to unemployment after ? Students should be made aware clearly of the opportunities available after graduating.
